Lucas is excited about the year. “We want to work on getting better in the trenches every day,” he said. “We return a lot of guys that played last year in the state finals. We return Joe Taylor at FS and Daniel Golding, Sam Michael Corbin Steele on defense. Offensively we return Kyle Knight, Josiah Fitch, Mitch Reynolds, Ross Stofflet and Brennan Vanriper.”
New things this year include: Same mindset as last year,” he added. “Get better every day and do the little things. “We feel we always have the targets on our back and kids kind of have that mentality,” he said.
“We just want to take one game at time, and control what we can control.”
The season starts against Dexter for the first game, Friday August 30 at 7. The Bulldogs are not to be underestimated. Look for good things again this year.
