By: Rebecca Indianer [email protected] Our city of Chelsea is known to be a happening place and this Halloween brings community members and businesses together like never before with Wines on Main’s first annual Witches, Warlocks, and Wizards event held on Thursday October 10th. (Updates and photo spread to come in next week’s edition.) Pam Conn provides us with further details... Calling all Witches and Warlocks! It’s time to get your witch on for our 1st Annual Witches, Warlocks, and Wizards Night Out in Chelsea! Community members and surrounding areas will assemble at dusk for a wickedly fun night of shopping, scary-good sales, tasty concoctions, tantalizing treats, music, and more. The bewitching hour starts on Thursday, Oct 10th at sundown (6pm) and goes until 10pm. Participants involved are: -Moran's Consignment who provided a Psychic Card Reader and make your own potions with an eye of Newt, and Heart of a Frog. -Vintage Barn Boutique helped community members create a make and take. -La Jolla had cider and donuts and an Enchanted Jewelry Drawing! -The Garden Mill had lots of great Halloween crafts and pumpkins. -Maureen’s Florist served warm cider. -Jewelry Set in Stone had a hot chocolate bar set-up in their studio and a drawing to win Petoskey stone earrings. -Wines On Main introduced their new spooky Halloween witchy mulled wine drink. - The Chelsea Train Station provided lots of art, Halloween and fall crafts, including Holly Smith’s beautifully handmade jewelry: Crystals & glass art, handmade jewelry, leather chokers, handmade sweaters, nail art, and also included, The Faerie face paint, Psychic Reader and more. -Ugly dog distillery hosted the Wizards & Warlocks. - The Chelsea Victorian Inn gave the community a tasty treat with smores makings at 9:30 pm. A Witches’ dance made its way through town, with joined community members. (Thank you to these Merchants/restaurants for saying YES to dancers in their places): The Chelsea House Victorian Inn, Bumbles, Culture Creations, Chelsea Train Station, Wines On Main, Ugly Dog, Vintage Barn Boutique, and Moran’s Consignment. The Grand Finale was, The Woodland Witches Harvest Dance, which took place at 9PM, and was located in the parking lot behind Wines On Main.
