​Kitty & Company will be conducting a series of short interviews with local Chelsea Residents for 52 weeks in order to appreciate differing design thoughts and styles in our community.  Perhaps you will meet someone new through these weekly interviews or perhaps it will be YOU! Stay tuned and follow us each week – Today we introduce you to Lindsey Dahl , best known in our community for creating vivid, bold and interesting paintings of nature.  (www.lindseydahl.com)
  1. What is your profession and for how long? An artist - for 7 years
  2. Your family members:  Mike and Robin Dahl (Mom & Dad)  my sister, Danielle Dawson,  and my fiancé…Mark Kramer.
3.People think of me as Normal but really I am an Exotic Bird Collector.
4.When did you move to Chelsea? Where did you live before moving to Chelsea?  I was born and raised in Chelsea.
5.What do you love about where you currently live? Currently I live in the western Jackson area, but Chelsea – a great city, will always be my home community. I haven’t traveled to many places, but as of now there hasn’t been a community that stacks up to what Chelsea offers.
6.If you could have a second home anywhere, where would it be?  Torch Lake, Michigan
7. What three words describe your style?  Unique, Unexpected and Bold.
8.What is one trend in design you do not like?  Beige Walls
9.If you were moving and could only pick one item from your home to keep, which would it be? Our dining room table. A friend and artisan in Royal Oak expertly crafted it – check them out: Live Edge Artisan.
10.No room is complete without   Fresh Paint
​11.Name an item you purchased for your home that you regret buying  I haven’t found one yet! :)
12.What hobby do you spend the most time on? Staring at my birds in the backyard!  It’s quite interesting!

Things to collect:  Birds
Favorite Museum: Natural History
Color: Blue
Favorite Design Style Modern
Dogs, Cats or Other?  All of them and then some!
