Elysa Grossman is a talented junior diver at Dexter High School.
So far she has many favorite moments in diving. “Being on the state team with Lily and Vivian, who I have been diving with for a long time, and competing at nationals,” Elysa said.
Her coaches are important to her..
“All of my coaches have taught me important lessons and helped me grow,” she said.
She hopes to continue diving in college. “Eight years ago I joined the dive team at the country club near me and one of the coaches there told me about Legacy, a year round club team,” she said. “I started diving with Legacy and have been hooked ever since. I have been able to meet some of my best friends through diving and it has always been a good experience for me.”
Her parents are Karla and Brian Grossman and she has an older sister Katie.
Her advice to younger divers is positive.
“My advice is just work hard,” she said. “Put in all the time and effort you can and it will pay off.”
