To say that Dexter Dreads quarterback Colin Parachek is a gunslinger is a major understatement. The kid can throw and he even has the one-game passing record in a loss this year to Chelsea.
He has his favorites. “I try to base my game off of Aaron Rodgers. My favorite player is JuJu Smith Schuster,” Oarachek said. “My favorite pro team is the Steelers.”
This junior quarterback also plays basketball as well as being a solid signal calling.

He has some good memories so far. “Beating Ypsilanti last year and breaking a 42 game losing streak for my school,” he said. “Coming back from a 42-21 deficit with under seven minutes to win and make the playoffs for the first time in school history.”
His favorite classes are Science or English. “All of my teachers and coaches have done everything they can to help me succeed,” he added. “It would be inappropriate to name only one.”
He likes his classes this year: Zoology, Psychology, Strength and Conditioning
Sports. “I like  spending time w friends and family,” he said.
His parents are Matt and Whitney Parachek. His brother who also plays varsity football is Brennan (14) and his sister is Alison (12) Parachek.
He has strong goals for the future: “Go to college and play football and study for sports journalism,” he said. He was named All-State First Team, All-Conference, Ann Arbor Dream Team and All-Conference Academic.
