![]() By Mark Dabiero Dabiero Charities is facing the most unprecedented challenges since Mark and Barb Dabiero started this charity over 30 years ago with a single family from the Melvindale School District. Due to Covid concerns we have been unable to host conventional fundraisers for the families in need which in turn has created anxiety for the Dabiero Charities Board members as well as volunteers. The attitude of the volunteers has been incredible. On many occasions we have been asked if help is needed and how they may assist. The answer is we do need as much financial support as we can possibly get. The landscape of how we do things are quite different as the charity has grown. The 503 © 3 Tax Deductable contributions has enabled us to give 450 to 500 children clothing and food for the Santa season in conjunction with supporting families that have lost their homes or fallen on tough times. Contributors appreciate the fact that 100% of the funds are given directly to the children. We do not have any wages taking from the revenues generated. Thank all of you downriver residents that have donated to our charity. ![]()
